EPVS and Flexi-Orb are pleased to announce the recognition of Voltsmart’s energy reduction fuse board technology following a comprehensive technical and customer proposition assessment process.
The recognition provides EPVS and Flexi-Orb members with access to an innovative technology designed to support household energy efficiency, electrical safety and the wider transition towards electrified homes.
As part of the assessment process, Flexi-Orb undertook a detailed technical review of the Voltsmart system, including its integration of consumer unit functionality, auto-transformer technology and advanced fire safety features. In parallel, the EPVS team assessed the customer proposition and supporting evidence to ensure any claims relating to energy savings were presented accurately, transparently and responsibly.
Innovation plays an important role in supporting the UK’s energy transition, but it is essential that new technologies are supported by robust evidence, appropriate technical standards and responsible consumer communication. Throughout our assessment process, Voltsmart demonstrated a strong commitment to meeting these requirements.

The recognition provides installers, renewable energy specialists and electrical contractors with an additional technology that may support customers seeking to improve electrical efficiency and reduce avoidable energy waste as part of wider home improvement, retrofit and electrification projects.
Alongside recognition through EPVS and Flexi-Orb, Voltsmart customers will also have access to consumer finance through the Stax platform, helping homeowners spread the cost of investing in energy-efficiency and electrical infrastructure improvements.
